A typical three-day trip could be:

The Salcombe Trip
Pick up Dartmouth am leisurely trip to Salcombe Harbour, if a nice day, maybe anchor off one of the beaches for a picnic lunch and swimming, moor onto a mooring buoy for the night, dinner in Salcombe town, breakfast on board and a tour of Plymouth Sound during the day, back to Dartmouth for the evening, with dinner in one of Dartmouth's renowned restaurants/or a romantic dinner on board, moored up in a marina, or on a mooring buoy for the night, breakfast on board, tour of the river dart and lunch either on board or in a pub.

This makes an excellent romantic break/honeymoon treat, or a great family holiday, if you introduce some crabbing and mackerel fishing.

The Dittisham Trip
Another typical three-day trip:

This is one of our most popular trips it is only short distance up river to the village of Dittisham, so is great for a time limited break. Dittisham village has a couple of great pubs, a café, sailing tuition and an excellent romantic mooring. You moor on a mooring buoy, and can fish/swim from the boat. There is a convenient jetty for mooring the dinghy, and taking a trip ashore to the pub, shop or café. The jetty is a haven for crabbing, and there are often children boasting catches of well over 100 crabs. (All of which are thrown back, many I suspect three or four times a day!) There is even a seal, which swims past occasionally.

There are numerous creeks to explore by dinghy, and small ferries, which run regularly to Dartmouth . Get our skipper to take you up to Totnes, (tide permitting), this is a beautiful and fascinating addition to this trip.

Opposite Dittisham is Greenway House and gardens, which was Agatha Christie's estate, which are open to the public throughout the summer.

The last time I moored at Dittisham, I booked a stay of three days, but ended up staying for three weeks, such is its charm.

A typical week's trip could be..
Exploring the Devon coast and heading into Cornwall . This is a great trip. One of the most beautiful rivers along the coast from Dartmouth is the Yealm. Here you can moor up in the high-sided river valley, and get some great food at one of the many pubs.

Next day you could stop off at Plymouth , maybe take in the new aquarium, before moving off to Fowey for a few days. This town is full of great restaurants and good beaches in its outer harbour area, certainly worth spending time at.

Moving along the coast, pop into Mevagissy for lunch, and then onto The Fal Estuary, mooring at St Mawes for the night. This village is bustling and here you will find fine dining restaurants, top-notch delis as well fish and chips!

Explore the River Fal, moor in Falmouth town centre and visit the Maritime Museum .

Then onto the Helford River for a more relaxed evening, swing on a mooring buoy and go ashore for a pub dinner.

Next day, back to Dartmouth , passing the famous Eddystone Lighthouse on the way, before mooring for a last time in the River Dart and taking in a restaurant or two.

Starting from a weekly rental, you could take the boat further afield to take in the Channel Islands, Brighton or the Solent or maybe France . We can book what you want and tailor make a trip for you, which I'm sure you'll appreciate will be weather permitting.
